E“La Petite Datcha” ("The Small Datcha") is a comfortable summer residence completely reconstructed in 2008. It is a detached house located nearby to the owners’ house, hidden from strangers' eyes in blossoming greens with a magnificent view on a small valley and nearby mountains. Geographically it is located in a small village called Châteauvieux, Chichilianne commune in Isère department, 40 minutes driving from Grenoble, in the French Alps. Being halfway between Switzerland and Côte d’Azur, you can estimate the calmness and beauty of landscapes in our Vercors-Trièves region. Here you can have a rest, spend time well and see all riches of our region. Vercors-Trièves region is an ideal place for quiet or active rest as you choose. You can have various kinds of active rest - the pedestrian, bicycle, horse and mountain walks, sailing walks on the Monteynard lake, bathing, in winter skiing, etc., and numerous monuments and sights which should be visited. Our summer residence is situated at bottom of the well-known mountain the “Mont Aiguille” (“Mount Needle”), Trièves symbol which is 2086 meters high above horizon. It is possible to bypass it on foot for 7 hours and why not to rise on the top of it with a skilled instructor ?! For preparation of your stay you will find all addresses on the "Useful addresses " page.Chichilianne commune is a part of “Parc Naturel Régional du vercors” (“Natural Regional Park Vercors”), and you can reach by foot in a few hours the Zone of “Hauts Plateaux”. It is a surprising, absolutely untouched by the humans place (where there is neither roads, nor electric lines, nor residential population), being THE GREATEST RESERVE OF FRANCE ! ! ! (about 17000 hectares of the wild nature)."The Small Datcha" is completely equipped for your convenience: on the ground floor there is a living- room with a sofa-bed, a kitchen with a stove, a refrigerator with a freezing chamber, etc., a bathroom with a shower, a washstand and a toilet bowl, 2 rooms on the floor. In total our summer residence can accept 6 people (2 persons on the sofa, 2 in the first room, 1 + 1 or 2 in the second.) You will have all necessary things for a quiet rest; you can cook for yourself, if you desire you can also try our bread baked in the village wood stove (and soon our beer !!!).The balcony towering a valley will be an ideal place for joint dinners !
